A rare pair of George III vases in the form of tripartite faux bamboo receivers decorated in chocolate brown on the pearlware ground

Several examples of this model are documented in caneware, including an example in the collection of the Wedgwood Museum. The present pair appear to be the only known example in pearlware and were possibly a trial, hence the lack of an impressed mark
