Genoese Neoclassical Giltwood and Crystal Glass Chandelier
A large and rare, late 18th Century Italian giltwood eight light chandelier, the central leaf-carved baluster stem supporting eight wrought iron branches, each hung with prisms of palest amethyst glass and lined with chains of faceted glass beads; joined by further swags faceted glass beads centred by star-cut rosettes and hung with glass teardrops, the upper section with a coronet of faceted glass beads issuing star-cut rosettes and hung with glass teardrops. Currently fitted with real candles however we can wire this chandelier in our workshop for electricity, included in the price
