A fine mid 18th century kingwood, tulipwood and parquetry commode of unusually small scale, the serpentine form, with marble top above two drawers with moulded borders and tulipwood and chevron banding with swan-neck handles and centred by a parquetry star surrounding the key escucheon, each side inlaid with a further parquetry star, over a serpentine apron and raised on splayed legs terminating in gilt-bronze sabots
