A pair of Louis XVI painted walnut bergeres, each with channelled and stop-fluted frames, with a shaped back, raised curved top-rail and two upturned bellflower finials, with scrolled arms, on stop-fluted tapering legs headed by paterae, terminating in peg feet. Each stamped: ‘A.P. DUPAIN’ to the underside of the seat rail
