Antique Alabaster Chandelier or Plafonnier attributed to Edward F. Caldwell

A very fine ormolu mounted alabaster ceiling light attributed to Edward F. Caldwell, the fluted, Greek-key carved alabaster bowl with four gilt-bronze ram’s heads holding drapery swags and suspended from four square-link chains connected by a wreath of ormolu roses. The interior or the bowl fitted with four lamp holders. It is possible to remove the wreath of roses encircling the chains, likewise, links can be removed from the chains in order to shorten it
