Antique Clobbered Chinese Ginger Jar

An exceptionally beautiful and rare Chinese ginger jar of bulbous form, with domed lid surmounted by a foo dog or lion finial, with all-over clobbered decoration of polychrome against a gilded ground, over the original underglaze blue decoration.
