A fine and unusually large Louis XV style gilt-bronze candlestick lamp after a design by Juste-Aurèle Meissonnier, the nozzle, stem and base formed of bold asymmetrical rococo scrolls cast with flowers and leaves.
Wired for electricity with tall candles and silk braided flex. These lamps can be wired in our workshop for use in any country.

New York based Edward F. Caldwell & Co. was one of the premier designers and manufacturers of electric light fixtures and decorative metalwork from the late 19th to the mid-20th centuries. It was founded in 1895 by Edward F. Caldwell (1851-1914) and Victor F. von Lossberg (1853-1942).
