An antique Louis XVI carved and painted bureau, the panelled fall-front carved with a central portrait medallion flanked by laurel swags and enclosing a fitted interior with carved drawers, with long panelled drawer below carved with swags, the frieze carved with paterae, raised on square fluted tapering legs, painted in a greyish/white with pink interior. Retaining the original brasses throughout
