Wired with silk braided flex, this lamp can be wired in our workshop for use in any country

Gagneau is recorded at 25 rue d’Enghien, Paris, in 1817 as the inventor of a form of mechanical oil-lamp; the firm went from strength to strength, moving to 115 rue Lafayette and winning awards at many trade fairs later in the century
