Large 18th Century Venetian Open Armchair
A large Italian 18th century painted and parcel gilt armchair or fauteuil decorated with scrolled stylised foliage and acanthus, the cartouche shaped panelled back joined by shaped and scrolled arms, above a serpentine and scrolled moulded seat frame centred by a shell and raised on cabriole legs
Please note that we have a set of three chairs listed together, as a pair, and as a single. This single chair is the one shown in the calico fabric in the centre of the group image
