Pair of 18th Century Silvered Repoussé Wall Sconces
A pair of striking early 18th century silvered brass/copper wall sconces, the repoussé back plates boldly decorated with convex roundels interspersed with floral spays, surrounding the central octagonal reflector, all below a bishop’s head. The two spiralling candle nozzles supported on scrollwork branches with knopped stem.
