Pair of Faience Chinoiserie Groups

An unusual pair of continental faience pottery chinoiserie groups.
Each modelled with three chinoiserie figures and a stork and cockerel, respectively, around a palm tree, their costumes vividly patterned and coloured and standing on grassy bases.
These were always apparently purely decorative rather than functional objects, however we could convert them in our workshop to for a pair of lamps.
