Pair of French Commodes

A pair of late 19th Century commodes ebonised commodes, each with original breccia marble top, with canted corners, over two long drawers panelled with re-entrant corners decorated with carved and gilded flowers. The drawer fronts with carved and gilded swags terminating at the original, finely-chased, ormolu handles. The sides, panelled as the drawer fronts with square panels and floral gilt-wood swags, all raised on cabriole legs with acanthus-leaf scroll feet
