Pair of George IV Gilt Bronze Column Lamps

An impressive pair of large George IV ormolu lamp bases in the style of William Beckford’s furnishings at his house at Fonthill, the reeded, tapering columns topped with gothic traceried nozzles above acanthus leaf capitals; the gothic traceried socles supported on zoomorphic tripod bases with lion paw feet over concave-sided platform bases decorated with quatrefoil.
