Rare 18th Century Portuguese Rosewood Tea Caddy

An exceptional quality 18th Century Portuguese rosewood tea caddy, the concave sided lid over the rectangular caddy with canted corners and standing on ogee bracket feet, opening to reveal the original tin canisters above a secret drawer to the base. The swan-neck handle and escutcheon appear to be solid silver (unmarked).
