Charles Christian Rosenberg, 1770-1844, Austro-Hungarian by birth, came to England as a page in the retinue of Queen Charlotte, and retained ties with the royal family throughout his career. In about 1787 he settled in Bath and, sometimes known as Carl Rosenberg of Bath, he had a successful career in that City as a silhouettist.
