Robert Kime: Pair of Gilt Brass Column Lamps
A pair of gilt-brass column lamps by Robert Kime. In George IV style and named the Cavendish after the Dukes of Devonshire, the original versions of this lamp can be found in the Sabine Room at their family seat Chatsworth House in Derbyshire (illustrated here). Each spreading columnar support decorated with bands of stiff-leaves and raised on a square base. Over forty individual castings make up this impressive table lamp. Fitted with triple bulb holders, these lamps can be wired in our workshop for use in any country
