Set of Italian Antique Neoclassical Painted Panels

A wonderful and unique set of 13 early late 18th Century painted panels, each centred with a lozenge shape panel painted with a theatrical neoclassical mask and with a shaped panel above and below decorated with stylised honeysuckle and neoclassical floral motifs in polychrome colours. Removed from a Neoclassical Palazzo in Sicily where they were originally window shutters, these would look fantastic wall-hung, incorporated into panelling or used as cupboard doors. They retain their original wrought iron fittings which we can remove if desired
