Unusual Coopered Stool or Low Table
capstan-shaped and of waisted barrel form, the sides cut away to create an under tier and with a trefoil carrying hole to the top, all with a wonderfully crusty original blue painted surface. Is it a very grand milking stool or a project by a cooper to demonstrate skill, who knows? Today it works well as a small occasional table beside a chair or a small stool
