A Charles X Paris porcelain Encrier or ink well of rectangular, waisted form moulded with acanthus leaf borders and raised on lion’s paw feet and heightened with gilt. The sides decorated with brightly coloured boarders against a jet-black ground; inset with two removable ink wells flanking the lyre handle
