A Louis XV style faience box of shield shape, the lid painted with a signed scene of a young sailor drying his nets attended by his son and pet dog, the sides with waterside scenes.
Please note that the faience panels are in good condition, though areas on the inside of the lid where the glaze hasn’t taken do look like cracks, this is in fact not the case.
