A Louis XVI gilt -wood bergère winged armchair, the square back between deep wings leading down to the padded padded arms with scroll terminals and curved arm supports. The loose-cushioned seat with moulded seat-rails raised on fluted tapering legs, all with the original, beautifully faded, gilded surface. Upholstered in Cantinella fabric in ‘Lucerne’ by Colefax & Fowler
