Rare 18th Century Bronze Ewer

A rare and impressive rococo bronze ewer. The, writhen, gadrooned body, with flared and scalloped spout, grasped by a handle in the form of a sea serpent. Raised on a rocaille base with circular, moulded, foot. Wonderful deep brown patina.
