A pair of Samson “Chelsea” exotic bird vases or lamps, each of bulbous form decorated with flamboyant exotic birds and butterflies amongst a ground of verdant foliage. Almost certainly produced by the French factory Edmé Samson in immitation of Chelsea porcelain of 18thC.
Ideal for conversion to lamps with gilt-wood bases, solid brass fittings and silk braided flex. This can be carried out in our workshop, for use in any country.
